What this service is
Cloutboard sells visible positions on public leaderboards. The highest bidder for a position holds it until somebody bids higher. Position is determined solely by the amount paid.
A position is a paid placement. It is not an award, an endorsement, a review, or a measure of quality, popularity or performance. Nothing here ranks creators by audience size, engagement, or merit of any kind, and no such claim may be made about a position held here.
Bidding
- Every bid is priced by our servers at the moment of payment, from live data. A price shown in your browser is an estimate that can change before you pay.
- A bid must beat the standing bid at that position by the published increment, and must fall between the board’s floor and ceiling.
- A bid takes effect only after we have verified the payment with the payment provider. A success message in your browser is not, by itself, a confirmed bid.
- You may be outbid at any time, including immediately. See Refunds.
Profiles and who may bid for them
Profiles may be submitted by anyone, and a bid may be placed for a profile you do not own. Submitting a profile does not transfer any rights in it, and a public profile appearing here implies no relationship with, or endorsement by, its owner.
If a profile belongs to you and you want it removed, contact us and it will be taken down. Any position it holds ends at removal, and bids already spent on it are not refunded — see Refunds.
What is not allowed
- Submitting a profile that impersonates somebody, or that you know to be false.
- Payment fraud, including bidding with a card you are not authorised to use.
- Automated bidding, scraping, or any attempt to interfere with how positions are calculated.
- Content that is unlawful, or that infringes somebody else’s rights.
We may remove a profile, cancel a bid, or block an account for any of these. Where money was taken for a position we then remove, it is refunded.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Boards, pricing rules and the number of visible positions may change. Changes are not applied retroactively to bids already placed.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a bid is limited to the amount you paid for that bid.
